FAQ Section
Here are some "Frequently Asked Questions"
How does Tick Spraying work?
The cedar oil acts as a pheromone interruption agent that impairs their mental capacity and is the residual repellent for up to 45-60 days depending on saturation. The cedar also causes the insects exo-skeleton to dehydrate. The fatty soap acts as a sticker to the insect.
Where do you spray for ticks?
When spraying for ticks-we spray wooded, shaded and moist areas. Mosquitoes like to "hide" in trees under the leaves and in shrubs during the day to keep cool. When spraying for ticks we recommend spraying wood piles, shaded grassy areas, in and around shrubbery and property borders where there is more brush.
What if it rains before or after application is put down?
We can spray in light mist conditions. We don’t spray in “rain” or heavy down pours. Product will just run off. Even if rain is expected one day after an application, the product will stay because of our natural soap ingredient.
Is the organic product harmful around children or animals?
The product is not toxic to humans and domestic animals. Yards can be used within a minimum of 30 minutes or more of spraying. Drying time may vary depending on humidity.
Does spraying for ticks cause discoloration when sprayed on or around patios, stone walkways or decks?
No, does not cause discoloration and is safe for sidewalks, foundations, swing sets etc.
"Since hiring the company to spray for ticks, my husband and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only does our yard smell terrific, like freshly applied cedar mulch, but we’re now able to spend time in our backyard with the dogs (and we’re in a wooded area).
